BioSignature CE

What can I say its been awhile.
To say I have been busy giving up the Chemistry position and moving into Strength Coach/PT full time is a understatement.
Its been a real eye opener.
The amount of bullshit training methods I see is laughable. Also I only saw one or two trainers other than myself measure sets/reps/weights/tempos etc How the hell can you tell if your client is progressing if you don't measure???
Its moronic, I don't know if its laziness or ignorance but I do know that if I was paying a trainer I would expect more than that.
Most of what I see is just wrong most trainers focus on the core by combining co-ordination moves in exercises. For example exercises they recommend focus on 80% co-ordination or balancing so
a) The least potential for strength improvement is in the trunk rotators!!!
a) you use less weight and
b) 80% of your co-ordination is achieved by the time your 12 years old so you shouldn't spend more than approximately 20% on that component in your execise selection
You can only improve that component 20% after that. So its absolutely moronic to focus on 80% of your strength training on the balancing component. It should be 20% and 80% on strength.
Let me give you a example.
I have actually seen this - a trainer doing a one arm dumbbell shoulder press with what looked like 50lbs while balancing on a Swiss ball versus myself doing a full range back squat with 360lbs for 6 reps.
The guy I saw do this thinks his core is strong but the guy who can do a rock bottom squat with 360lbs has better core strength. Why? Well for one the Swiss ball guy can't squat that. Whereas the squat guy can press 110lbs in each hand for reps!
Why can't Swiss ball man squat or press that because 80% of his energy is wasted on balancing which he can only improve 20% anyway and should be done separately!
Swissball man thinks he has a stronger core than me but thats bullshit because he should be stronger right? Swissball man is working the wrong modality.
For sports people this is stupid and so it is for someone who wants fat loss as well.
For sports people skill work should be done separately to strength training. For fat loss balance will not build as much lactic acid which leads to faster fat loss so again its stupid.
Yet this is what the majority of trainers are taught????
Finally "The Core" or Trunk Rotation exercises these morons focus on has the least potential for strength improvement which explains why they are not strong in the major lifts Squat, Deadlift etc

I am getting off track, getting back to BioSignature CE Charles Poliquin has done it again blowing me away so I can get even better results for my clients. The most frustrating thing I found when I had a new clients is finding the right protocol which suited them without over loading them with too many supplements yet recieve outstanding results.
The BioSignature skinfold testing narrowed it down but now with "MUSCLE TESTING" its like a lazer beam where I can instantly find the right protocol for someone and verify it.
There is some real science behind it from the Quantum Physics field but basically its just western science explaining eastern knowledge.
I am extremely excited because you can also eliminate things that interfere with results, optimise pre/post workout nutrition and find food intolerances for little to no cost.
I was so impressed that I am getting Robert Guiell "Joe Pesci" look alike to muscle test myself, my wife and 16month year old son!
Stay tuned Doing SCTS - Training the Prepubescent tomorrow
