How to Reduce Lower Body Fat Women or Even Men


I want to write about one of the most popular supplements in my practice. When I did the BioSignature course it becomes common knowledge how to reduce fat off a women's thighs. I must point out that the biggest mistake BioSignature is recommending the wrong protocol and not using quality supplements and nowhere is this more the case than with reducing fat off a women's thighs
The foundation of all the estrogen lowering protocols I use is DIM (Diiindolylmethane) and fiber rotation.
Now only a qualified up to date BioSignature practitioner can determine if excess estrogen is your priority.
What I mean for example is I had a client follow a insulin protocol he read on the internet citing Christian Thibedaues results where he reduced his bodyfat from around 7% body fat down to 3% in 3 weeks. Only problem was that his testosterone was his priority not insulin and once he focused on that his bodyfat decreased.
Once that is established via a 12 site skinfold test I almost always recommend DIM but it must be in a gel form in a oil base as it is not stable as a capsule or tablet, this is a very important point.

What is DIM?
Its found in cruciferous vegetables such as cauliflower, brussel sprouts, cabbage or broccoli which are well known for their cancer protection properties.
DIM is not found naturally in the above plants. Only during human digestion upon crushing, DIM is released with the assistance of enzymes. You must have sufficient HCl production in your stomach to fully ultilise DIM and that is why it is one of the first things fixed by a BioSignature practitioner. If you do not produce enough HCl in your stomach lower bodyfat may be a challenge for you.
Why Poliquin DIM?
DIM is crystalline in structure and thus oral absorption of DIM in capsule form is negligible. The Poliquin DIM is emulsified in rice bran oil, including with it compounds that hold it in solution such as beeswax, and fat-soluble nutrients that aid its absorption through the gut wall.
How does DIM reduce estrogen and thus excessive fat on thighs, chest and triceps?
First we must realise the 3 main metabolites of estrogen E2(good), E4(bad) & E16(ugly) vary greatly in biological function.

- prevents aromatization of testosterone to estrogen
- preventative nutraceutical against prostate cancer
Should Men Take Dim?
Men who show female fat distribution patterns ie. fat on triceps, chest and legs or wish to prevent prostate cancer or have a family history of prostate cancer should take DIM.
However I emphasise you must see a BioSignature Practitioner first to establish if it is a priority for you and to ascertain the correct dose
What about DIM for Women? How is it used in BioSignature?
If your hamstrings and quadriceps (thighs) have excess fat then DIM will help reduce it.
I recently had a 23 y.o. female personal trainer as a client who measured a skinfold of 35mm on her hamstring and 31mm on her quadriceps and always had fat legs even though I could see her abs!
